Style: Mataro Grenache

Region: Barossa Valley, SA

Vintage:  2016

The 2016 was th first release of this bright and juicy 65/35 blend of Mataro and Grenache.

The grapes were picked on a fruit day (which you’ll know is important if you follow the lunar calendar), with 35% whole bunch and wild yeast fermentation. No additions. Aged only 4 months in old oak barrels.

The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimum sulfur added. It’s as ‘natural’ as we get.

Bright, crunchy, fresh, wild, buxom, spicy, provocative. Long and moreish.

Drink this one while young and fresh.
