Moon 2017 Marsane

There's a lot of marketing spin out there about natural wines, but the producers who truly practice what they preach produce wines that honestly showcase the vineyard.

Mike Boudry and Greta Moon have worked hard on their biodynamic vineyard in Nagambie to get it to a place where the wine makes itself.

The Moon Marsanne is whole bunch pressed to stainless tanks, left for a long natural ferment which took four weeks, then lees stirred to develop mouthfeel. Nothing crazy, just simple, honest winemaking.

The 2015 is crisp but with depth of flavour and some individual qualities derived purely from the distinctive terroir of the region.
